History

Ayooluwatunde “Tunde” Akeredolu.

The Ayooluwatunde Akeredolu Foundation (TAAF) doing business as AYOOL STEM (AYOOL), is formed in the name and memory of Ayooluwatunde “Tunde” Akeredolu. The Foundation is created for the charitable purpose of providing youth of low-income households in underrepresented minority communities with resources that will bridge disparities and empower them to thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers. These resources include scholarships, technology, education, and mentorship programs

Tunde was God-fearing, ambitious, and purpose-driven Software Engineer who made significant contributions in his career and community. He worked minimum wage jobs to pay his way through his dual-major programs at the University of Houston (UH). After completing his undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Management Information Systems, he earned his MBA at University of Houston Clear Lake. He later joined Bradford Airport Logistics, a fast-growing company in the Houston area. Tunde developed the software that contributed to the success of this small business. Tunde was passionate about helping the less privileged whenever he could. He personally contributed to sponsor college students through their education. He also mentored a group of young entrepreneurs at UH to build an online exchange platform between students, Give Pals.

In his last years at Bradford Airport Logistics, Tunde served as the Chief Technology Officer, and played a critical role in growing the organization to secure its place in the global arena. Outside of his career, Tunde was a devoted pastor, a compassionate leader and mentor to many youths and professionals. Not only was he passionate about people fulfilling their life purpose; but he wanted to see lives transformed for the glory of God. Tunde was a difference maker in the lives of those who knew him. More than ever, he continues to inspire. His great legacy of purpose, excellence and making a difference lives on. His, is a legacy that will transcend generations.
