AYOOL STEM was created to provide youth of low-income households in underrepresented minority communities with resources that will bridge disparities and empower them to thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers. These resources include scholarships, technology, education, and mentorship programs.
“STEM through S.T.E.M.”

Scholarship
Through our Scholarship Program, we invest financially in the college education of underrepresented and socio-economically disadvantaged students in STEM. Currently, we provide at least two $1,000 one-time scholarship to qualified graduating high school students attending four-year colleges or universities with a focus in STEM.

Technology
The goal of our Technology Program is to provide access to technical tools, hands-on skills training, and exposure needed to ensure success in STEM. Some of the STEM skills we focus on include engineering-design thinking, critical thinking, analytical skills, problem solving, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

Education
Our Education Program help students improve their comprehension, mastery and academic performance in Math, Science, and other key areas by providing tutoring services to AYOOL partner high schools. In this program, students are motivated to become enthusiastic about mathematics and science by exposing them to the diversity of careers in STEM.

Mentorship
AYOOL’s structured Mentorship Program is designed to solidify the student’s STEM identity, allowing them to fully explore STEM careers and higher education pathways. Student will develop advanced STEM skills and abilities while establishing their network of STEM relationships.
